Wunberg Produce
Wunberg Produce is the combined product of Kenneth Wundrow and Robert Wesenberg. It all started at a kitchen table in 2014!
From its beginnings as a berry patch on just an acre of rented land in Sharon, Wisconsin, Wunberg Produce has grown to an additional 25-acre farm, where no pesticides or chemicals are used!
What makes Wunberg Produce special?
All Wunberg’s produce is hand-grown, starting in the house as early as February before moving to the outside greenhouse.
To ensure maximum freshness, vegetables and berries are usually hand-picked or pulled just hours before processing.
They personally taste-test every batch!
Some of the items grown include strawberries, red and black raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, elderberries, cherries, apples, and tomatoes.
Since Wunberg Produce is not treated with chemicals for preservation, it must be sold, used, or processed the day it is picked. As the produce is ready, it is cleaned, chopped, and canned at their on-site licensed canning facility.
What can you find at Basics?
Basics carries a wide variety of Wunberg jams and jellies, pie fillings, pickled veggies, salsa, tomato sauce, applesauce, and even local elderberry syrup! Find Wunberg Produce on the endcap at the end of the produce aisle.
