Born in California. High school in Costa Rica. Business school in Argentina. Tony D. is a well-traveled farmer with a passion for health. Not just his health, but also the health of the planet. Tony’s career in agriculture actually started as a summer job, which turned into a 6-year apprenticeship! Tony knew he wanted to be a small-scale farmer, so he spent more time visiting - and working - other farms around the world to learn how they handled their production.
Harmony in nature
In 2016, a former Amish farm near Mondovi, Wisconsin, became Sacred Blossom Farm. This 20-acre farm now grows a variety of herbs used in functional teas with names like Immunity, Dreamy, Angel, and Breathe (all found at Basics). Sacred Blossom harvests herbs by hand at the perfect time. Herbs that pass their strict criteria are carefully dried, slowly and at the right temperature, to dry in freshness and potency.
