Public and Private Events Welcome

The Community Room at Basics can accommodate up to 75 guests and is equipped with a large dry-erase board, podium, tables, and chairs.

Cost is only $20 (Co-op Owners) or $40 (general public) for up to 4 hours!

Please note: No outside food is permitted in The Community Room except for celebration cakes/cupcakes (we highly recommend Pastries By Chad, LLC). Our in-store coffee shop and cafe is happy to cater your event! We are also a full-service grocery store with many items available for purchase straight from our shelves the day of your event (drinks, snacks, chips and dips, desserts and more!)

A special feature in our Community Room is the 1,500 square-foot mural painted by local artist and former co-op staffer Allegrea S.B. Rosenberg. The mural spans all 4 walls and depicts a “farm to table” theme encompassing all 4 seasons and landcapes from all over the globe. It is available for public viewing in between booked events (or any time the door is open). The one-of-a-kind mural is also a perfect backdrop for birthday parties and celebrations!
