Consuming CBD oil does not result in euphoria, as the agricultural hemp from which it is derived contains less than .3% THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) in dry weight. Because of this extremely low THC content, products manufactured from agricultural hemp are exempt from the Federal Controlled Substances Act. They are legal to buy and sell.
